Product Spotlight - Photo Finish

     Every week we bring you a new product that we have completed or made significant progress on, but before now we haven't shown how the projects are complete.  It's no trade secret that our success is based directly on the hard work that our crews put in, and this week we would like to walk you through how the magic happens at Facility One Inc. We will follow a women's accessories shop called Beya in production through process over the next few weeks. Pictures will be available on Monday.

    Step one is making contact with the our prospective client, whether it be in person, over the phone, or through email. From there our design team takes over, ironing out every detail with from creation to completion, and if you are not sure what you are looking for, they are there to help you along the way. Step three is where our Facility Manager proceeds in the process by ordering all the material down to the last nuts and bolts. The fourth step is the arrival and unpacking of the raw material. The next step is the beginning of assembly of the product by sorting the material and beginning to set up the machines. At step six, we come to a large group of special stages with all depend on the job, from laminating, to painting, detailing, or involving acrylics. Step six is where the vast majority of building and specialist work comes into play as no two jobs are the same. After that we reach the stages of preventative packing to prevent damage during delivery, whether it is us delivering it or a third party. Lastly we finish up with step eight, the installation of the product; whether it being a counter top in your kitchen, a kiosk at a busy mall, or a group of storage cabinets at a hospital, when you are working with us, you can expect more. We treat our work as pieces of art that you choose to put on display, whether it be the centerpiece or the backdrop.

Product Spotlight - Golden Residence

While we love to bring the spotlight of our products to you, we also love it when you show us them back.  This week's product spotlight is a venture into the past as we look at a residential masterpiece that we helped to create. Borrowing the words from Jeanine Matlow in Ambassador Magazine's 2009 anniversary edition, our woodwork helped the house make a transition "from awkward to artwork". The creative lead of Caroline Smith, the design principal of Caroline Inc. in Royal Oak, resulted in us craft a monument to the creativity and ingenuity in the Golden residence. We will let your eyes do the rest of the talking for us as we will provide you with a glimpse into the Golden residence.

Product Spotlight - Press Play Kiosk

    When you think of Detroit, the three things that probably come to mind are cars, music, and hockey. This week we decided to showcase the innovative Press Play recording kiosk that we have recently introduced in the Taubman Fairlane Mall. The kiosk is a standing monument to the musical talent that has been discovered in Detroit as it acts as a fully functional recording booth. This kiosk gives everyone from mall patrons to up and coming talent a shot at stardom. The scenery that the booth provides is the look and feel of an urban experience as it has a rap around mural of the Detroit skyline at night.
